Glenn Close and Kerry Washington are part of “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery”

With cameras about to roll, we could all have predicted that the casting announcements for writer-director Rian Johnson’s third film Knife out Movie, Wake up, dead manwould start at full speed. Shortly after the news that Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny and Andrew Scott are joining the cast, we have now received the news that Glenn Close and Kerry Washington are joining them.

Daniel Craig is, of course, back in the role of Southern detective Benoit Blanc, but the exact details of what kind of mystery he’ll be delving into this time are being kept under wraps for now. Nor do we know what Close or Washington will be up to in the film.

We at least know where they’ll all be – Johnson is preparing to start filming in London next month. The trickle of casting has become a torrent, and there’s no doubt more to come…
