Shooting on Clyde Street in Hampton under investigation

HAMPTON, Virginia – Authorities are investigating a shooting in Hampton on Tuesday, a Hampton Police Division (HPD) spokesman confirmed.

HPD officers responded to a reported shooting on Clyde Street, just off Kecoughtan Road.

Police told 13News Now that at least one person was shot, but did not provide any information on their condition.

There is no information about suspects or the background of the incident.
