14-year-old in critical condition after shooting in southwest Houston

HOUSTON – A 14-year-old boy is believed to be in critical condition after being shot Sunday in southwest Houston.

HPD says it happened around 7:30 p.m. at 6111 Glenmont Drive.

Police arrived and found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

He was taken to hospital and is currently being treated. He is said to be in critical condition.

Police say they currently have no information regarding one or more suspects.

They are asking anyone who witnessed the shooting to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
