Sean “Diddy” Combs is accused of sexual assault by another woman

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of sexual assault in a new lawsuit filed in New York on May 23 by April Lampros.

Lampros claims she met Combs in 1995 while she was studying at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. The four incidents of sexual harassment allegedly occurred over a period of many years, from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s.

The application was filed in a New York court and has since been received by CNNalso includes charges against Combs for assault, battery, negligent infliction of emotional distress and violation of the Gender-Based Violence Victims Protection Act. A county official has yet to review the legal document.

In a statement to CNNLampros said: “I am confident that justice will prevail and the veil will be lifted so that no other woman will have to endure what I went through.”

When they first met, Lampros had ambitions to work in the fashion industry and claims Combs offered to mentor her. But according to the lawsuit, “what Mr. Combs showed as a friendly gesture quickly evolved into an aggressive, coercive and abusive relationship based on sex.”

The lawsuit alleges that in 1995, at a New York hotel, she was “placed on the hotel bed where Mr. Combs forcibly lay on top of her.” It claims that Lampros “begged Mr. Combs to stop” and that she was “naked, sore and confused” the next morning after the alleged rape.

Another incident allegedly occurred in 1996. Lampros claims she was forced to take Ecstasy with one of Combs’ ex-girlfriends in his apartment before demanding sex from the two women and threatening her that “he could cost her her job.” After the alleged incident, the lawsuit claims Combs masturbated before raping Lampros.

The lawsuit states: “She felt that if she disobeyed him, he would take away her dream of a career in his world. Mr. Combs also threatened to blacklist her from the industry if she tried to mess with him in any way. Ms. Lampros’ dreams and everything she had worked hard for were in his hands.”

The case brought by Lampros is the eighth lawsuit against Combs, who has not yet responded to the latest allegations but has previously denied the charges against him.

Combs was also recently accused of sexually assaulting and drugging a model in 2003, but he has not yet commented on the new case. Crystal McKinney claims she was forced to perform oral sex on him in his New York City recording studio in 2003.

Meanwhile, Cassie Ventura broke her silence for the first time after Combs apologized for attacking her at a hotel in 2016.

In an Instagram post, Ventura wrote: “The expressions of love have created a place for my younger self to feel comfortable and relaxed now, but this is just the beginning. Domestic violence is THE problem. It made me into someone I never thought I would become. I am better today thanks to hard work, but I will always have to recover from my past.”

This is an evolving story.
