State Police are investigating shootings at two cars on I-384

State police are investigating a two-car shooting on Interstate 384 in Manchester in the early morning hours of Tuesday.

Officers learned of the shooting just before 12:40 p.m. when they were contacted by the Manchester Police Department, which said officers were approached by a person who said their rear window had been shot out on the highway, according to state police of Connecticut.

The victim told authorities that the shooting occurred on I-384 West near Exit 1 while they were driving a black Acura RL sedan, state police said. No injuries were reported.

According to state police, initial information indicates that the shooter was driving a gray BMW 3 Series sedan.

“This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public at this time,” state police said in a statement.

Police are investigating and looking for witnesses or motorists who had dashboard camera footage in the area at the time of the shooting.
