At least three people taken to hospital after South Side shooting

At least three people were rushed to a nearby hospital following a shooting in Houston.

The shooting happened in the parking lot of a Foot Locker store at 3388 Old Spanish Trail, near the South Freeway in the South Side neighborhood.

The police were notified on Sunday evening at 9:30 p.m. When they arrived on scene, two men were found with gunshot wounds. One of them was shot in the head and the other in the leg and shoulder.

A third person, a 24-year-old woman, was found at a different location with a gunshot wound to the lower back related to the same horrific incident.

All three victims were transported by ambulance and are expected to survive. The man who was shot in the head currently remains in critical condition.

One report claims a white vehicle approached a crowd of people hanging around near the Foot Locker parking lot and began shooting. The vehicle then fled.

The woman who was shot was able to flee the scene and call 9-1-1.

No other injuries have been reported at this time.
