1 dead after motorcycle accident in Anthony

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – One person has died in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, May 11, in Anthony, Texas, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said Anthony police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 8500 block of Doniphan in Anthony.

Upon arrival, officers located a single motorcyclist involved in the accident.

The driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital with “CPR in progress,” where he died upon arrival, according to the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff’s Office traffic investigators have been assigned to investigate as the crime scene is still active.

The sheriff’s office confirmed the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed before the accident.
