Eurovision disqualifies Dutch singer Joost Klein on the eve of the finals in Malmö

MALMO, Sweden – Eurovision Song Contest organizer the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) confirmed Saturday that Dutch artist Joost Klein, who represents the Netherlands, will not take part in Saturday night’s final. The decision was made just a few hours before the grand finale in Malmö, where the competition will be held for the third time.

“Swedish police have investigated a complaint made by a female member of the production team following an incident following his performance in the semi-final on Thursday evening,” the EBU said in a statement.
