Mohali: Mohali police have arrested Amaan (27) for allegedly killing two people with his car late on Thursday evening. Amaan was produced before the court on Friday, which remanded him to judicial custody, police said. The deceased were Ajmer Singh (71), a resident of Mundi Kharar, and Joban Singh (25) of Mullanpur. Ajmer was traveling on a two-wheeler when he was hit by a car driven by Amaan. Joban, a friend of Amaan, was sitting next to the driver’s seat in the car. The car struck three vehicles before crashing into a utility pole. tnn
