Buffalo man arrested, accused of shooting victim on Elmwood Avenue

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was arrested after allegedly shooting a victim late Saturday night on Elmwood Avenue, police officials said.

Police say Vincent Foster, 39, shot a 28-year-old Buffalo man around 11:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Elmwood. The victim told police he was outside when he was allegedly shot in the arm.


The male victim was treated and released from ECMC.

An investigation was conducted overnight and resulted in the arrest of Foster, who was charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
