This is what the authorities say about the murders

Police reportedly arrived at the scene after someone called 911 to report that a child had been shot. Officer Wada said, “As officers are en route, they’re saying more children have been shot.” He also said, “It’s absolutely horrific. It’s unimaginable what the family is going through, what the friends of the family are experiencing, what the community is feeling right now. It was just a horrific scene, and even experienced officers told me it was the worst thing they’d ever seen.” The defendant did not reveal a motive for the killings when he was arrested.

The remaining extended family, Kelce’s uncle Eli Morrow and his wife Brittany, posted the donation online. She said, “We live 45 minutes away. I wish to God they would have asked us to take her in for the night. What’s bothering us the most is that it was a last minute decision to take her there, it was never planned.”

On the fundraising page, Kelce’s uncle wrote: “We are heartbroken to share the devastating news that our niece Kelse Kendrick, age 24, along with her two children Kaleb Kendrick and Kynli Kendrick, lost their lives in this unimaginable event… In addition, her cousins Colton Daniels and Haley Daniels have also fallen victim to this terrible tragedy.” GoFundMe is a crowdfunding platform that helps raise money for various events.
