1 dead and 1 seriously injured in traffic accident in Orange County on International Drive

ORANGE COUNTY, Florida. – One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and a car in Orange County Saturday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to police, the accident occurred around 5:39 p.m. on International Drive at Meadow Bend Loop

A preliminary accident report indicates that the accident involved a 2022 Indian motorcycle and a Mitsubishi Mirage.

Police said the driver of the Mirage, who was only a woman, was taken to ORMC, where she was pronounced dead.

The man driving the motorcycle was taken to ORMC in critical condition, according to FHP.

According to police, International Drive is currently closed.

The crash remains under investigation.
