New York City woman choked with belt and sexually assaulted on Bronx Street: Watch

The New York Police Department (NYPD) is reportedly investigating a viral video that reportedly shows a violent sexual attack on a woman that occurred in the Bronx earlier this month.

The New York Post reported that the incident occurred between 3 a.m. and May 1st. occurred; Whatever happened to her was completely unacceptable.

The victim, a 45-year-old woman, is pictured in the video walking on the sidewalk at East 152nd Street and Third Avenue when the perpetrator, covering his face with a white towel, approached her from behind and She grabbed hold of him. He then dragged her behind a car and sexually assaulted her, police said.

NYPD is looking for the man

The man then fled on foot toward Melrose Avenue and disappeared in the middle of the ordeal but still remained at large, they say The Washington PosT

Police confirmed the woman was transported to a nearby hospital.
