Teenager killed in car crash in Henderson County

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tennessee – A tragic car crash killed a West Tennessee teenager over the weekend.

According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash occurred Sunday evening in Henderson County.

According to the report, a Kenworth K270, driven by a 49-year-old Louisiana resident, was traveling on State Route 22.

According to the report, a Chevrolet Impala driven by a 17-year-old was crossing SR 22 from the Center Hill Loop when the accident occurred on the roadway.

According to the report, the Impala’s passenger, also a 17-year-old, was killed in the accident.

The driver of the Kenworth and the driver of the Impala were also injured, the report confirms.

According to the report, no charges have been filed in connection with the accident.
