2 men died in separate accidents over the weekend: RNC

Two men were killed in two separate accidents over the weekend, the RNC said in separate press releases on Monday.

The first incident occurred in Conception Bay South. Before 8am on Sunday morning, a dead man was found in the Chute Place area with a dirt bike nearby.

The RNC says it is looking for video footage of Anchorage Road and Chute Place from the time of the crash, which is believed to have occurred on the night of Saturday into Sunday.

The second crash occurred on the west coast of the province in the town of Meadows.

The RNC said it responded to an accident involving a motorcycle around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene and the RNC is also looking for video footage from the accident area.

Collision analysts are working with the province’s chief medical examiner to determine the cause of death of both drivers.
