Princess Anne says she can remember "nothing but one thing" about her horse accident

For the first time since her horse accident that left her hospitalized, Princess Anne has spoken about her health and her ability to remember the events of that day.

On Friday 12 July, The Princess Royal resumed her royal duties and made her first official public appearance during a visit to the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) National Championships at Hartpury University and Hartpury College.

“I can’t remember anything,” said Anne about her recent horse accident, as the Daily Mail.

On June 23, Princess Anne suffered, as Buckingham Palace described it, “minor injuries and concussion” after being involved in an “incident on the Gatcombe Park estate.”

“Her Royal Highness remains at Southmead Hospital in Bristol for observation as a precautionary measure and is expected to make a speedy and full recovery,” the palace said in a written statement. “The King has been kept updated and joins the entire Royal Family in sending the Princess his warmest love and best wishes for a speedy recovery.”

On June 25, it was first reported that Princess Anne had suffered temporary memory loss as a result of the incident. The Telegraph.

On the same day, her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, commented on his wife’s health and her current hospital stay.

“She is recovering well, thank you. We are deeply grateful to the medical team and hospital staff for their expert care – and to the emergency services, who were all so wonderful on the scene,” he said at the time. “We are both deeply touched by all the kind messages we have received from so many people near and far. It means a lot to us.”

Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara Tindall, was reportedly “deeply devastated” by the accident and her mother’s memory loss.

“This is exactly what Zara has feared for years, but her mother had no chance to slow down as everyone else collapsed,” a source said OK referring to the cancer diagnosis of King Charles and Princess Kate.

“It has really shaken Zara to her core and she is desperately hoping this memory is only temporary,” the insider continued. “This has been a massive wake-up call for everyone in the family and they are rightly distressed.”

King Charles’ sister was later discharged from hospital on June 28 after five days and subsequently received “rehabilitation support at her home in Gatcombe Park in Gloucestershire”. People was reported at the time.
