Boy injured in horrific lawnmower accident

A young boy from Brisbane suffered life-threatening injuries in an incident involving a lawnmower.

Several Queensland ambulance crews were called to the house in Waterford West, a suburb in southeast Brisbane, at around 5.28pm on Sunday.

The child was found in critical condition with life-threatening injuries to his leg.

He was admitted to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a critical condition with the support of intensive care nurses.

As of Monday morning, his condition was still critical but stable.
