58-year-old man killed in boating accident in Brooklyn

A 58-year-old man was killed Saturday in a collision between two boats near Avenue X and Gerritsen Creek in Brooklyn, police said.

According to authorities, port units from the New York Police Department and the NYPD arrived at the scene.

According to police, there were three people in one of the boats. One man on that boat was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.

According to authorities, the condition of the surviving passengers is stable.

According to police, there is no suspicion of a criminal offense in the incident.
