36-year-old found dead during welfare check in Uptown

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – A man was found dead during a welfare check in Uptown on Friday, June 14. According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.

The man killed was identified as 36-year-old Corey Robinson. Police classified the case as a homicide on Tuesday, July 2.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m. along North Graham Street near West 8th Street.

Police have not released any further information.
