One dead in accident on FM 969 in East Austin

AUSTIN, Texas – One person is dead and two others injured in a crash Saturday afternoon in East Austin.

Officials with Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) say the accident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. in the area of ​​the 10100-10500 block of FM 969 near Bud Dryden Airport.

Paramedics performed a vehicle rescue before pronouncing one of the patients dead at the scene. The other two patients were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center, where one is dealing with serious injuries and the other with non-life-threatening injuries.
