Training Station owner Terry Dow charged with sexual assault – NBC Boston

The owner of a New Hampshire gym was arrested for allegedly touching a young girl inappropriately, police said.

Manchester police said they received a report from the Department of Children, Youth and Families in May about Terry Dow, 51, who owns the Elm Street gym. The letter alleged that Down picked up a girl from her home to hire her as a volunteer at his gym. While she was at the gym, Down allegedly touched her inappropriately while cleaning the women’s locker room.

Dow told the teen not to tell her parents, police said. Instead, the girl told a trusted adult, which sparked the investigation.

Dow was charged with sexual assault and simple assault. He turned himself in to police on June 20 and was released on bail. His arraignment is scheduled for July 25.
