Several people shot by police after chase on I-43

MILWAUKEE – Several people were shot by police Thursday afternoon following a chase on I-43.

Sources told TMJ4 that one person with gunshot wounds was taken to Froedtert and two others were taken to an unknown location.

It is assumed that the shots came from the police.

According to the Department of Transportation, I-43 from Capitol to Keefe is closed in both directions.

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, Milwaukee Police requested assistance in closing the highway in both directions.
