Washington, DC man shot and killed in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Maryland (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) identified the man who was found shot dead in a stairwell on Tuesday evening.

On June 18 at approximately 9:40 p.m., PGPD responded to a shooting in the 5600 block of Regency Park Court. There they found 24-year-old Sean Bethea of ​​DC in a stairwell suffering from a gunshot wound.

He died there.

Investigators do not believe this was a random crime. On Thursday morning, they were still working to determine the motive and identify the suspects.
