Cape Coast Teaching Hospital discontinues haemodialysis services

The Cape Coast Teaching Hospital has announced the temporary suspension of haemodialysis services.

In a statement on Friday (June 14), the hospital said: “This has become necessary due to some quality issues that arose last week during our regular operations.”

“We understand the urgent need for this service in our catchment area and the challenges this suspension poses for our clients and the public, and therefore we sincerely regret the suspension of services. However, the suspension is necessary to ensure the continued quality of care and to protect the lives of our clients,” the statement continued.
