Father defends daughter against taxi driver who allegedly sexually abused her

A ride-share driver was shot dead after a drunk driver’s father caught the driver raping her.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, the driver of the ride service is said to have raped a drunken woman who was dependent on the ride to get home safely.

According to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to a 911 call about weapons violations in the area near 6th Avenue Southeast and found that the ride-share driver had been shot.

According to investigators, the father was caught while the ride-sharing driver was raping his daughter near a fishing spot and shots were fired.

The passenger was taken to the hospital for treatment and subsequently arrested for second-degree rape and first-degree kidnapping.

Detectives found two cartridge cases near the location where the weapons violation was reported.
