Man sentenced to up to 75 years in prison for sexually abusing children in West Easton

A man who pleaded guilty to molesting five children in a West Easton home was sentenced Tuesday to 22 to 75 years in state prison.

Ronald Raisner Jr., 54, of Stroudsburg, will also spend 12 years on probation following his release under the sentence imposed by Northampton County Court Judge John Morganelli.

Under Megan’s Law, he was declared a sexually violent predator and must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life

Raisner was charged in 2023 with molesting the children, all of whom he knew, from 2012 to 2019.

He pleaded guilty on February 14 to involuntary deviance from sexual intercourse; two counts of aggravated assault; indecent assault; indecent exposure; two counts of endangering the welfare of children; and corruption of minors.

“This plea and sentence could only be achieved through the hard work of (State Trooper) Jeremy Hayes … and the incredible courage and bravery of the five victims who were able to come forward,” the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement.
