Driver shot in road rage incident in Cedar City; suspect arrested

CEDAR CITY, Utah — One driver was arrested and another was hospitalized after an alleged driving-rage shooting in Cedar City, police reported Wednesday.

According to Cedar City police, the incident began at Main Street and Fiddlers Canyon Drive when a suspect pulled out a gun and shot the unidentified victim.

The suspect was arrested shortly after the shooting, while the victim was taken to the hospital where he received medical attention. The victim’s condition or injuries were not known.

The cause of the incident and the names of the victim and suspect have not yet been released.

In June of this year, two men died in separate incidents of road rage. In Clearfield, A 63-year-old man was killed in a shootingwhile a Father of two children was shot after an incident of road rage in Lehi that his sons witnessed.
