3 teens injured in shooting outside gas station on Bellaire Boulevard.

HOUSTON — Three teenagers were shot during some sort of transaction outside a gas station in southwest Houston early Monday morning, according to Houston police.

It happened shortly after 4:15 a.m. on Bellaire Boulevard near South Kirkwood.

Police said a young man was found inside a car with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital in critical condition.

While searching the area, police said officers found two teenage girls hiding behind the building, both suffering from gunshot wounds. One of them was shot in the hand while the other was shot in the thigh.

Police said both teens were treated at the scene and then transported to a hospital.

Investigators then filmed a video showing all the victims in a vehicle – a Nissan – with another man inside. Police said they were all around 18 years old. They encountered a brown, four-door Chevrolet vehicle, possibly a Malibu or Cruze.

Police said there was a transaction between the residents of the Malibu and the Nissan. At that point, someone in the brown vehicle began shooting, hitting the Nissan several times. Three of the four people inside were hit. The fourth person in the Nissan got out and fled. This person was heading east on Bellaire and has not been found.

It is unclear how many people were in the brown car.

Police also found money scattered in the parking lot and in the car. They said they found weapons in the victims’ vehicle.

No drugs have been found at this time, but police are continuing to examine the scene.

The two women who were shot said nothing except that they were afraid. Police said she neither cooperated nor made any statements.

Police said at this time they have a lot of leads, but it will take some effort to identify who was in the shooter’s vehicle.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
