DCSO: Several injured after accident between off-road vehicle and car; section of KY 81 closed for several hours

According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, several people were injured after an ATV filled with juveniles was struck by a passenger car in the 7300 block of KY 81.

Sheriff Brad Youngman said several people were taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital by AMR ambulance.

Youngman said DCSO patrol and fire crews are still on scene and the accident reconstruction unit is en route.

The road will remain closed for several hours, Youngman said.
