LVMPD and NLVPD police investigate shooting in northeast valley

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) – Police from two jurisdictions are investigating a shooting Wednesday night in the northeast Las Vegas Valley.

According to Las Vegas police, numerous callers reported gunshots in the 3900 block of N. Nellis Boulevard at approximately 8:42 p.m. At least two vehicles were reported to have left the area, and police who arrived at the scene found gunshot wounds and impacts on buildings and vehicles in the area.

The North Las Vegas Police Department responded after a gunshot victim arrived at North Vista Hospital around 9:10 p.m. In a preliminary report, NLVPD stated the victim was shot in Metro’s jurisdiction. The victim is being transported to UMC.
