Several houses hit by gunfire early Sunday morning

A home on the corner of 24th & Manderson was sprayed with bullets early Sunday morning. Omaha police arrived around 2 a.m. and found at least 18 shell casings nearby. Officers began examining the scene and forensic experts also arrived to take photos and collect evidence. Another home across the street was also struck by gunfire. A house on the corner of 24th Street and Manderson was hit with bullets early Sunday morning.

Omaha police arrived in the area around 2 a.m. and found at least 18 shell casings nearby.

Officers began examining the crime scene and forensic technicians arrived to take photographs and secure evidence.

Another house across the street was also hit by gunfire.

No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
