Fatal accident leads to closure of Geiger Grade

RENO, Nevada (KOLO) – A fatal crash caused Geiger Grade near Loftis Road to be closed in both directions Saturday afternoon.

It occurred around 4:25 p.m. about 2 miles off U.S. 395 on the road to Virginia City, the Nevada Department of Transportation reported.

Further details were not immediately available.
