Investigations into Friday’s shooting deaths continue

Although autopsies are complete, Statesboro police are not releasing details on the deaths of a young man and a teenage girl found in a Statesboro apartment Friday night. Statesboro police Lt. James Winskey said Monday that autopsies were completed Monday on the bodies of Jade Braddy, 17, a Metter High School student, and Ethan Alexander, 20, a Georgia Southern University student. The two were found dead in a Connections apartment around 9:40 p.m. Friday. Both had suffered a gunshot wound.
