HCSO investigating shooting death of man on Red Oak Dr. in North Houston

HOUSTON (KIAH) – A man was found dead in North Harris County with a gunshot wound to the head. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is investigating the shooting, which occurred around 11:30 p.m. at 17300 Red Oak Dr.

Investigators said the man was seen on security cameras walking in the area and was found with a gun nearby. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are unsure whether the shot was fired by him or if someone else shot him. The investigation is ongoing.
