5 men arrested in connection with robbery on Tuesday: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Alabama (WKRG) – Five men were arrested Tuesday following a robbery on Plum Street, according to Mobile police.

A press release from the MPD states that officers were called to the 600 block of Plum Street around 5:40 p.m. for a reported robbery.

LOCATION OF INCIDENT:

On the way to the crime scene, officers noticed a car that matched the description of the one that had left the crime scene, the press release states.

Officers reportedly attempted to stop the vehicle but became involved in a brief chase. The press release states the driver eventually stopped and officers found the five men.

The five men allegedly robbed a man at a home on Plum Street. The news release said officers arrested 20-year-old Darrell Nettles Jr. of Mount Vernon, 20-year-old Elijah Janez Files of Mount Vernon, 21-year-old Tauchristion Lockett of Mobile, 19-year-old Antwan Creagh Jr. of Mount Vernon and 19-year-old Jeremiah Lockett of Mount Vernon.
