BRONX, NEW YORK (May 23, 2024) – Two people were injured in an apartment building in the Bronx at the Metropolitan Oval, off Wood Road.

According to New York authorities, the collision occurred on Monday at around 12:30 a.m. A fire broke out on the seventh floor of the apartment building.

New York Fire Department officials were called to the scene to assist the victim. At least two people were injured and taken to the hospital.

The comprehensive investigation into the cause of the collision is currently still ongoing.
