Basil to donate 4 vehicles to veterinarians and first responders

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Four vehicles will be given away at this year’s “Vehicles for Vets and First Responders” event.

For the eighth year, Basil is partnering with Veterans One-Stop Center of Western New York. Together, they donate two vehicles to two first responders and two more to two veterans.

Starting Memorial Day and running through September 6, veterans, active military and first responders can be nominated to win a brand new vehicle. Twenty randomly selected finalists will be invited to Buffalo Riverworks on September 20, and a random selection of the four winners will take place there.

While “Vehicles for Vets and First Responders” is taking place, Basil will make a donation to the Veterans One-Stop Center for every vehicle sold. Over the promotion’s history, more than $250,000 has been raised for the center.

Once the promotion starts, you can nominate someone here. Donations to the One Stop Center for Veterans are accepted here.
