Worker injured in Orange City accident | News

ORANGE CITY – A 44-year-old Rock Valley man was injured in a workplace accident in Orange City around 8:40 a.m. Monday, May 6.

Ricardo Avila was working at a construction site southeast of the Orange City Area Health System when Mario Martinez Adame, 33, of Hull, was backing a 2023 Case skid steer loader, failing to see Avila and running over his leg, according to the Orange City Police Department .

Avila was transported by Orange City Ambulance to Orange City Area Health System.
