New Delhi: Two people died and three others were injured after a car they were traveling in overturned in Rohini. The accident happened when they were shooting a movie.

The deceased have been identified as Sanjay (23) and Ashutosh (22). The injured are Sahil (20), Rashid (18) and Lokesh Singh (23) – all residents of Kishan Vihar, Delhi.

According to police, they received a call about the incident at 12:30 p.m. “After receiving information, a team was rushed to the spot where an Ertiga car was found in an accident condition. During the investigation it was found that the five occupants had been taken to the hospital, where two of them were treated and declared dead by doctors, three are undergoing treatment.

Initial investigation revealed that the driver of the car was filming the video and lost control of the car, which led to the accident. A video of the incident circulated on social media, showing the car in a completely destroyed state.

A case has been registered under the rash driving section (279) and death due to negligence (304A) of the IPC.
