The main rendering shows the broad south elevation facing East Houston Street, clad primarily in red brick. Above the eighth floor, the facade transitions into wider expanses of floor-to-ceiling glass, particularly at the east end of the building, where the fenestration is surrounded by black metal panels. A ninth-floor setback will create space for extensive terraces, and the roof also appears to support an outdoor space. A short mechanical partition covers the west side of the building.

The closest subway to the property is the F train at the 2nd Avenue station to the west.

The expected completion date for 280 East Houston Street is February 2025, as noted on site.
