Buffalo Bills OC Joe Brady and Keon Coleman build early chemistry in rookie minicamp

The Buffalo Bills have held their rookie minicamp where we will begin to see how the invited rookies (drafted and undrafted) perform early before entering OTAs and training camp. One of the biggest storylines surrounding the Bills coming out of the NFL Draft was the Bills trading up twice in the first round and selecting Florida State wide receiver Keon Coleman with the first pick of the second round.

Since Coleman was officially drafted by Buffalo, he has become entertainment on social media and attracting the attention of Bills Mafia. He has big shoes to fill right off the bat with the departure of Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs this past offseason, but Coleman has a great situation because Josh Allen is his quarterback.

In addition to allowing Allen to throw him the ball, Keon Coleman will also benefit from having offensive coordinator Joe Brady as a play-caller. Brady stepped in as interim offensive coordinator midway through the season last year after Ken Dorsey was fired. Brady used his opportunity to help the Bills offense out of its midseason slump and was named the official offensive coordinator.

Alex Brasky reported that Bills rookies and Brady “were attached at the hip” during Buffalo’s rookie minicamp.

Seeing this from Brasky, who was in attendance at the Bills rookie minicamp, should excite Bills fans, as Brady has the ability to make himself a dangerous playmaker for Josh Allen. The Allen-Coleman duo should be an exciting combo to watch this season and with Brady working early on with Coleman, this could be a preview of what will happen when the Bills take the field for the first week of the regular season.
