Man struck by vehicle in Bridgeport has serious injuries: Police – NBC Connecticut

Police say a man suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Bridgeport Thursday evening.

According to police, calls came in just before 5:30 p.m. that a person had been hit at East Main Street and Spring Street, with firefighters, police officers and paramedics responding.

The victim was taken to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment of serious upper back injuries, police said.
