According to the UCF police report, a man chased a woman from a bus into a parking garage.

A man who was riding on a Lynx bus followed a woman who had been riding on the same bus into a parking garage, where he grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her into the stairwell, the University of Central Florida Police Department said. It happened Sunday night in the Amelia Street Garage, UCFPD said. A man on a Lynx bus followed a woman who was sitting on the same bus into a parking garage, where he grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into the stairwell, University of Central Florida police said.

It happened Sunday night in the Amelia Street Garage, the UCFPD said. The suspect is accused of sexual assault.

“Thanks to timely reporting to police and a detailed description from the survivor, UCF Police Detectives were able to quickly identify the suspect and are now working to obtain a warrant for his arrest,” UCFPD said. “Neither the victim nor the suspect have any connection to UCF.”
