Valor Forum org calls for increased military action against Hezbollah

Following Saturday’s Hezbollah attack that killed 12 children in Majdal Shams, the Fighting for the North Forum wrote a letter to IDF spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari criticizing the IDF’s “detachment” from the situation in northern Israel and its lack of military action in the region.

“We were shocked when we heard Hagari’s statement (on the attack on Majdal Shams) last night that no one expected such an attack. This shows that there is no understanding at all of the difficult situation we have been in for ten months,” said the forum, which is made up of evacuees and residents of the north.

“For ten months we have heard the same euphemistic words about violent, targeted attacks in Gaza and Lebanon. This is not enough!” they added.

The forum called on the Israeli military to launch a comprehensive military response. “Now is the moment to launch a response that will end with a demilitarized strip in the north and save us from the next massacre that is already waiting for us.”

The Valor Forum, a forum of 150 relatives of those killed in the war between Israel and Hamas who support increased military action on Israel’s fronts, also called on political and security officials to “change the security situation in the north and south.”

Sharing grief with the Druze community

The Valor Forum expressed its condolences in a letter to the Druze community and said it shared their grief.

“It cannot be that children in Israel, in the Gaza Strip or in the north, cannot play in a playground outside their home because they fear for their lives.”

“We send you strength and hope that you will no longer know sorrow. Israel must win, in the north and in the south, for the fallen and for the living.”
