TULSA, Oklahoma. –

Tulsa Police released bodycam footage after a man drove his car onto the sidewalk in River Park.

Last month, police officers attempted to stop Wayne Seward for running a red light.

Instead of stopping, Seward drove onto the road near 51st and Riverside and tried to elude police officers.

The video shows that Seward was just a few meters away from hitting several pedestrians and cyclists.

Eventually, officers stopped Seward’s car by blowing out the tires and arrested him.

Seward pleaded guilty last week to obstructing an officer and endangering others while fleeing from police.

A Tulsa County judge sentenced him to three years in prison.
