Air quality warning in effect

TONIGHT/EVENING: Hazy/smoky skies all afternoon and evening. The National Weather Service has issued another AIR QUALITY ALERT. This now applies to all counties in our area and is in effect until at least 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. The elderly and young, as well as those with respiratory conditions such as asthma, may have problems with the smoke. The best way to avoid the negative effects of the smoke is to stay indoors as much as possible, especially if the smoke is thick in your area.

TONIGHT: Hazy/smoky skies, otherwise mostly clear skies with nighttime lows between 55 and 59 degrees Fahrenheit in Colorado Springs and just under 60 degrees Fahrenheit in Pueblo.

WEDNESDAY: Skies will remain hazy/smoky, otherwise another beautiful day with mostly sunny skies and temperatures slightly above normal. Expect highs of 88°F in Colorado Springs and 91°F in Pueblo.

THURSDAY: Thursday will be another beautiful day with mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures. Maximum temperatures in Colorado Springs will be just under 35 degrees, and temperatures around 35 degrees are expected in Pueblo.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy in the morning, then partly to mostly cloudy in the afternoon with a chance of isolated showers and possibly a few thunderstorms. Highs in the 90s in Colorado Springs and the mid-90s in Pueblo.
