Crime in Oak Lawn: Vandals attack vehicles in Alsip and Oak Lawn neighborhoods; police warn residents

OAK LAWN, Ill. (WLS) – Police in the southern suburb warned residents about a series of vandalism crimes against cars.

Oak Lawn police said they are investigating a series of incidents that occurred during the overnight hours near the following locations:

-108. and Laporte

-109th Street and Lamon Avenue

-107th Street and Lacrosse Avenue

-115th Street and Lavergne Avenue in Alsip

It is not known how the vehicles were damaged. No injuries were reported.

Police asked residents with surveillance cameras in the area to check their footage to see if any suspects are visible on camera.
