Shooting in the night leaves one dead and one hospitalized

At approximately 1:15 a.m., Sacramento police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1500 block of 20th Street in Sacramento. When they arrived on the scene, officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital but was later pronounced dead. A second male adult victim had taken himself to the hospital. They are said to be in stable condition. No suspects are currently in custody. Officers are asking the public if they witnessed anything related to this shooting to call the department at 916-808-5471.
