Man killed in rollover crash in southeast Kansas, police said | Home

COFFEYVILLE, Kansas (KAKE) – A 24-year-old man died in a rollover crash in southeast Kansas early Thursday morning.

The crash occurred at about 1:50 a.m. near Woodland Avenue and Buckeye Street in north Coffeyville. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that the driver of an eastbound Toyota Avalon failed to negotiate a curve. The car ended up in a ditch and overturned.

The driver, Zachary Evans of New Blaine, Arkansas, died at the scene. The police’s online accident report states that he was not wearing a seatbelt.
