1 dead, suspect arrested after stabbing in southeast Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A man was stabbed and killed in Southeast Portland early Monday morning and a suspect was arrested, authorities said.

According to Portland police, officers arrived at the intersection of Southeast 136th Avenue and Southeast Clinton Street at 12:30 a.m. to find a man who had been stabbed.


The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital where he died.

A suspect in connection with the stabbing was taken into custody, officials said.
